Yusuke couldn’t help but smile at the question. It was funny that they both had thought of the same person on this particular subject. “I believe it might be a slight mixture of both? I could see her bemoaning the primitive technology, but I also imagine she would be quite charmed by how like a video game this all could be seen! And I’m sure she would have at least distracted herself by trying to figure out how these strange tellphones work.” And if she could manipulate the programming somehow, perhaps.
Was this future knowledge or simply a belief that Haru held? It wasn’t as though Yusuke could say to himself, and to risk bringing about that sad expression again would be rather rude of him! So… She kind of won. At least for now, until such a time arrived that he felt he had proof to suggest otherwise. Though… He rather hoped she was right. “Then I shall have to take your word for it. Thank you for the confidence.” He responded with a small smile, just slightly hopeful for the next time he got to start painting with someone.
“Oh, no need to apologize. I understand and appreciate the concern, of course. I only don’t wish to add worry on to someone who is already adjusting to an odd situation.” Yusuke responded carefully, not really wanting to worry people in general, even if he had begun to realize that wasn’t exactly possible when you had friends who cared. Still, the teen’s expression lit up at her comment. “It has been truly wonderful. There are so many things I’ve never seen before! I have been kept quite busy trying to capture them on paper or canvas. I would be thrilled to show you, if you like, once you’re more settled in this place.”
