It's not the strangest thing he's heard lately, he guesses, that she's been traveling world to world by choice for a while. Still, it's unsettling. And he definitely hadn't made a conscious choice to be here or unconscious that he knows of either.

He moves to sit beside her, leaning forward so his forearms rest on his knees and he considers the question. Honestly, it's one of those things where he feels so out of his depth that he's not quite sure where to even begin asking questions. Maybe he really just wanted someone to exist with for a bit more than anything when he'd called out to her.

The creatures are strange but kind of cute at the same time but he bows his head a bit at her and then the chocobos as well.
