So, as referenced here for the Story Event, Nida's story is a bit more involved and requires a bit of plotting. If you want in on that, this is the place to talk about it. Probably would help those interested in it to have a nice game plan to work with.

Not to mention some people might be interested in what is going on so they can maybe react on the periphery. So, more under the cut.

Long story short (and it will be longer in his post), Nida's from a world here the oral tradition holds that their god Hyne basically made humans as tools to reshape the world to his will and desires. Tools that could inherently make more tools, and work without direct supervision. And then the punk went to sleep, humanity went on being human, and... Well, Hyne didn't like the idea.

What's a great way to cause a war with your intelligent creations? Decide to cull them, starting with children. Yeah. Needless to say, it's not exactly a loved deity.

And unfortunately in the telling of the story Nida's going to accidentally be manifesting a version of his god. This is going to play out in a few ways. First, there will be a combination of issues with the manifesting. Nida's literally just back that same day from a power update and already dazed and drained, he's magically sensitive, and he's going to be a bit more than slightly drained, actually passing out.

Good thing it won't be too long because that evening Hyne will manifest. Nothing like an angry, powerful sorcerer that's probably around 8 to 10 feet tall even in its diminished state that wants to lash out at this place they don't belong in. Nida's going to be asking for help for the fight.

Basically I just want to confirm how many people are going to be looking to be involved. Anything over two beyond myself and I'd want to make plans for how to split up teams for support so that threads are easier to manage.

I'd say I would probably start this up later in August, and the battle probably won't take too long as the manifestation can't draw nearly enough power from someone like Nida to really be highly dangerous. It will be slinging spells though. Mostly elemental sorts. If we want, maybe I can ask the mods for a bit of small to moderate damage.

The general idea is maybe to be fighting near the fountain, because come on, that's a GREAT venue for an epic brawl, right?
